These terms govern use of the Jet Fuel Talent website, client enquiry process and freelancer application process. A signed client, freelancer or service agreement will contain the commercial terms for an actual engagement and will prevail if it conflicts with this page.
1. Acceptance
By using this website or submitting a form, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or submit information.
2. Our service
Jet Fuel Talent introduces businesses to selected South African remote professionals. We review requirements, identify potentially suitable candidates and arrange introductions. We are not an open marketplace and submitting an enquiry does not guarantee a shortlist, placement, engagement or particular result.
3. Client enquiries
Clients must provide accurate information about the role, working hours, tools, budget and expectations. Candidate profiles and introductions are confidential and may be used only to evaluate a genuine potential engagement. A client must not circulate candidate information or contact a candidate outside the agreed process to avoid Jet Fuel Talent's involvement.
4. Freelancer applications
Applicants must be at least 18 and provide accurate, current information they are entitled to share. An application does not guarantee acceptance, client introductions or work. Jet Fuel Talent may assess applications, request a recorded assessment, hold interviews, verify information and decide whether a person remains eligible for matching.
5. Engagements, fees and payments
Working hours, rates, invoicing, payment timing, replacement arrangements, notice, confidentiality, intellectual property and other commercial obligations are agreed separately before work begins. Website descriptions are general information and are not a binding quotation or promise. The signed agreement for an engagement takes priority.
6. Independent relationships
The legal status of any working relationship depends on its facts and the applicable agreement and law. Nothing on this website alone creates employment, partnership, agency or a joint venture between a visitor, client, freelancer and Jet Fuel Talent. Clients and professionals should obtain advice where classification is uncertain.
7. Acceptable use
You may not misuse the website, submit unlawful or misleading content, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with security, upload malicious material, scrape personal information, impersonate another person, or use candidate or client information for an unrelated purpose.
8. Intellectual property
The Jet Fuel Talent name, logo, website design, text and original materials are owned by or licensed to Jet Fuel Talent. You may view the website for legitimate personal or business evaluation, but may not copy, republish or commercially exploit its content without permission. Ownership of work created during an engagement is governed by the relevant signed agreement.
9. Third-party services and links
The website may contain embedded forms and links to services such as Airtable, Trustpilot or other external providers. Their availability, content and privacy practices are controlled by those providers. A link does not mean we endorse every statement or service on the destination website.
10. Information and availability
We work to keep the website accurate and available, but information may change and the website may occasionally be unavailable. Content is provided for general information and should not replace legal, tax, employment, immigration or financial advice.
11. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, Jet Fuel Talent is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising solely from use of, or inability to use, the public website. Liability relating to a paid engagement is governed by the applicable signed agreement.
12. Suspension and changes
We may restrict access, stop processing an application or enquiry, or remove information where we reasonably believe these terms, law, security or another person's rights are at risk. We may update these terms, with the current date shown above. Continued use after an update means the revised website terms apply.
13. Governing law and contact
These website terms are governed by the laws of South Africa, and website-related disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the competent South African courts. A signed engagement agreement may set out additional or different dispute arrangements for that engagement. If one part of these terms is unenforceable, the remaining parts continue to apply.
